Ya es 29 de enero de 2012, y ya tenemos aquí el gran día: La Gran Fiesta de la Calçotada en Valls. Afortunadamente el día acompaña, y luce un sol estupendo, a pesar de los malos augurios de ayer.
En cuanto volvamos de Valls os pondremos una pequeña crónica y las fotos de la fiesta.

I show here a picture with the content of the calçotada bag 2011. It is not much, but it was quite good. The calçots where not warm enough, but anyway, we understand that such an amount must be prepared with some time in advance.

My recomendation: although the bag is OK, try to find a place where to eat a real calçotada. ;-)
And you can also buy calçots through the Internet. There are several shops online, but the best one is calsots.com, for sure.
It is january the 15th, only 14 days left for the “Fiesta de la Calçotada“ in Valls 2012. We know it will be more or less the same than last year, but in any case it would be very interesting to have the information available in december.

We start this new blog, where we are going to talk about the annual festivities around the calçot (“Festa de la Calçotada”) in Valls. As you know, it take place the last Sunday of January, except when the year number finishes in 1, that is, in the decennials festivities of “La Candela”. So, this year it will take place on Sunday, January 29th.
